Seeing 2001 last night on the big screen completely threw out all of my prior feelings/thoughts about the movie. The whole experience; the sound, visuals, music were so huge, overpowering, and intense. One of the top three film experiences I’ve ever had.
Watched 2001: A Space Odyssey last night at Cinema Paradiso-and even though I saw this film a few months ago, and a couple of months before that -I was blown away watching it at the theater. I was at lost. When I got home I ate a scone, drank some tea and fell asleep trying to watch La double vie de Veronique.
Intense.
