Today’s “Analog Listens™”: Gary Numan & The Tubeway Army “Replicas”.
I’m obsessed with the music from the 70’s that tried to sonically represent their versions of the future, and Gary Numan encapsulates that. Sean Chaney will forever be linked to GM in my mind; one drunk night he showed me Gary Numan’s “Pleasure Principle” and I thought he was ridiculous for even OWNING the record. A few songs later it ended up blowing my mind, and it still does with sober ears haha.
